About Us

In 2016 Paerata had a big idea to record & upload shearing shows and results to Facebook. He then gave that responsibility to his wife Cushla lol, they would record all day then sit outside a telecom phone booth uploading their content to Facebook. We gave the page a name & #shedtalk was born. In the summer Cush & Pae would travel to all the shows & speed shears live streaming the events, 9 years later we have 34k FB followers. In 2023 Paerata started the #shedtalk Podcast on Spotify that has over 1500 followers. One of the requests we kept hearing was apparel. In 2024 we launched the #STLK (#shedtalk for short) brand. It was supported so heavily that we needed an online store.
